Eli A. Waxler

I am a PhD student in Positive Developmental Psychology at Claremont Graduate University and Lab Manager at the Quality of Life Research Center. My research investigates identity development, flow, and well-being, with an emphasis on how people find meaning through daily experiences and long-term engagement in personally significant activities.

Using methods such as experience sampling and multilevel modeling, I study the dynamics of personal expressiveness, passion, and eudaimonic well-being across contexts including education, health, sport, and the arts. My current projects include examining the impact of professional identity across the medical education continuum and exploring how identity reconsideration unfolds across the lifespan.

My goal is to advance both theoretical models of identity and well-being and applied practices that promote flourishing in personal, professional, and community settings.
